My overall approach with my work is treating specific areas of concern as well as the entire body to assist the body with its amazing natural healing process.
Many times the source of pain or discomfort can be found somewhere other than the pain site.
I listen to the client's descriptions, assess the the issues, treat, and reassess.
I graduated from the CT Center for Massage Therapy (Cortiva Institute) in 2012. Since, I've worked in many settings and environments from spas to chiropractic offices.
I began my own private practice in 2013 and have studied many modalities of massage and bodywork.
Teaching was the next step in my growth and I've been instructing classes ranging from anatomy and physiology, Kinesiology,Pathology, and massage related courses at the Cortiva Institute for the last several years.
I enjoy helping others live a healthier lifestyle through the use of soft tissue manipulation and postural balancing.
None of my treatments are the same and i customize each session to the client using a wide scope of techniques and modalities. Much of my work is centered around deep tissue work, myofascial release techniques, orthopedic massage and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
My focus is centered around prevention and using multiple techniques, modalities, and tools to provide the most effective possible therapy.
Whether the goal is to destress, increase range of motion and function, decrease pain, or assist with body system functioning, my goal is to help you reach yours!
